Where did my cervix go??

I checked my cervix before my shower at around 8.30pm and it felt low and like a nose. I was surprised as I am about to O so expected it to be higher. Just tried to feel it again to be sure as it's completely gone out of reach! What's happened to it? Has it moved that quickly if O is about to happen say tonight?

My cervix rises fairly quickly at ovulation time too , to the point where I cant reach it, but its important to check it at the same time each day because the cervix moves around during the day.

Yes. The cervix does move around throughout the day. I just started checking mine and it's different at different times of the day.
