Where do i start?!

My OH proposed to me yesterday

I've been looking at ideas, but have no idea where to start!?
& how much things will cost etc?

I would like to get married either Sept 2011, or Feb/Mar/Apr 2012

i don't want to leave it too long though, as we want to try for another baby when Josh is 18-24 months ish, & i don't want to be pregnant on my big day (if i can help it!)

I've thought about the colours, either dark blue & white or Red & white

so where do i start? and what are some rounded up costs of how much everything will cost?

Firstly, you need to sit down and set a budget. You can get married for less than a couple of grand, or you can go all out and spend upwards of 15k. Before you plan anything, you need to know how much money you have as this will affect your choices.

Once you have done that - you will need to organise

- Date
- Venue
- Celebrant
- Choose your bridal party
- Photographer/videographer
- Food
- Dress
- Bridal party outfits
- Cake
- Cars
- Accommodation
- Shoes/veil/tiaras
- Music - for ceremony and reception. Band or DJ?
- Flowers
- Stationary
- Make up
- Hair
- Hen party/stag party

We booked the wedding first, then found a venue for the reception, then got my dress, the rings, flowers, photography.... we left the smaller things til nearer the time... ebay all the way ! x.x.x.x
