We have a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment, with large living areas, 2 balconies, cities veiws, 2 bathrooms... reasonale kichen... and a freakin huge price tag!!!

We cant afford this place, no way, no how! We've stayed as long as we can, but we have to move.

I found this place, its $100 cheaper than our apartment, its WALKING distance from here, so its in the exact same area, so nothing in our lifestyle would change... and its beautiful! Just tiny compared to where we are! I cant imagine getting our furniture into it! Something would have to give! And Jasper would have his cot back in with us... but... you do what you have to do, right?

But, the outdoor communial aras make up for what you lose in indoor space! Jasper and I can have picnics and if there aren't goldfish in the pond, I know my OH would sneak a couple in and pretend it wasn't us... and then we can feed the goldfish in the pond with Jasper!

Check it out!

Looks great. I think you could have a castle or a cave and still be happy. Its the people and love that make a home.

hey hun it looks awesome!!!!!!
is it really only $330 a month??

The outside is beautiful!!!!! The inside is nice too. How does the pricing work there, like is the price the per month? Or is that bond per month? How big is it? Is it alot smaller than where you are now?

Its much much smaller, its gonna hurt to move into that space.

Sydney is the most expensive city in australia and where I am on the lower north shore is one of the most expensive subburbs.. so.... that $330 is per week!

Although, if an average wage after tax here is about $650-$700, its not THAT bad.

But, we're paying $450 a week and we have nasty evil horribl credit cards that we're paying heaps off every week - after bills and rent, my OH has $20 left over for the week.... so we cant save or get ahead in any way...

I dont mind moving somewhere smaller, because that place is so pretty and I can see myself really using the outdoor spaces, that we dont have with this apartment complex... and whats the point of 2 balconies if you never use either of them anyway?

PLUS if I start nannying soon, I'll be earning about $350 per week, so I can completely cover rent - I'll be paid cash, so the government doens't have to know, so I'll still get my benefits, and so out combined income, minus rent, will mean we can save for a deposit to actually BUY a house and stop paying out the nose on rent!

per week :saywhat:??? WOW i thought i had it rough thats crazyness... it is so pretty though

Oh ok, I was thinking WOW how cheap!!!! lol We paid $1100 US for our 2bedroom apartment a month. How much does $330 there equal to US?

Its just what it costs to live in Sydney! We talked aobout moving to Melbourne, we could pay $330 a week for 3 bedroom house!

BTW.... Jasper is sitting on my lap and I'm bouncing him.... and he's sllowwwlllllyyyy falling asleep... I was wondering why he kept bumping the keyboard!!! He cant keep his head up. Hehe, cutie bum!

$226.6328 lol yay for yahoo currency converter :)

AWWWW see im not right down town if i were (vancouver) for a place like that it would be that maybe more....

Oh that's still not too bad then. I think it's really nice. I hope you are able to get itand it works well for yall

So, its $1320 per month AUS - but considering we're paying $1800 a week here, we'll save $480 per month - nealy $6000 back in our pockets a year! To feel a littl cramped, its still a worthwhile move!

And Japer is fast asleep across my shoulder... I should put him to bed, but he's so lovely nd cuddly! He doesn't fall asleep on me like this anymore, he'd 4 months old and already too cool for cuddles during the day!

AWWW thats so cute, wait till he gets older my mom says it just gets worse so cute tho

Bugger! I just had another look at the address... Lane cove is a massive subburb and its a little bit too difficult for my OH to get to work via bus - currently he walk to work, take about 20mins.... from that place he'd have to catch two different buses and it'd take him 40mins...

... I dont know if he'd go for that...

Oh well! I'll keep looking! At least I know there are nice places out there in our price range!

And I accidently woke Jasper putting him to bed and now he's sobbing in bed! I feel bad for him

oh dang you should use google earth when looking at places lol. thats what i did is awesome see what kinda road it is on ect.

awww poor jasper

I might still have a look at it anyway, if its good for Jasper and I my OH can just deal with the transport issue. Although, if its not good for trains and buses, then it'll be a problem for me also, as I dont drive.... as long as there is a local shop or something within walking distance I'm good.

I did think it was a little too good to be true!

And I'm downloading google earth right now!
