This evening it has felt like my milk has disappeared!!
Usually tobi has a good feed at 6pm for about 10-15 mins and then he is done. This evening, he kept pulling off and complaining. I tried to get some milk out manually and nothing happened!

I am really worried. Hope this is just a one off and I am not drying up!
I have heard that sometimes, you just dry up for no reason!??

I'm eating well, drinking plenty and never really had any issues. Tobi has been feeding normally throughout the day even though we have started having a little breakfast, so its not as if there is no demand for it!

No real reason for the post, just wanted to get my worries out! but if anyone has any suggestions, I would be very grateful.
xx

I was going to suggest that maybe it was dehydration but you said that you are drinking plenty.Iv just these few days been having probs with feeding my son,he had lost a pound at his first weigh in and then 2 days later he had gone on to lose another ounce,so my MW asked me how much I was actually drinking and it really made me feel silly as I dont drink much at all and my milk had started to dry up and the quick feeds that I though he did because he'd had enough was actually because the milk had run out.Im sorry I went off on a tangent then lol

I got into that routine too once my OH went back to work! I couldn't drink enough in the day and things started going south!

Now I have a litre bottle of water with me where ever I go and just keep drinking from it.

I'v never been a big drinker, but I felt so silly when the MW asked me how much Im drinking.I felt a bit of a bad mummy to be honest but I started to drink more as soon as she said and today when she weighed him after 24 hours he'd put on an ounce!!

I think you're probably not drying up for no reason. Is it possible your LO has just become more efficient at feeding and doesn't need 10-15 minutes anymore? Or possibly teething - sometimes that puts them off feeding and they'll act fussy at the boob.

yeah, I'm wondering if it is his teeth, becuase he woke at 7.10 and 8.30 which he doesn't do usually. and he woke with a proper cry not his 'I am awake, so I am better go back to sleep' whinge!

Sometimes if you are taking a decongestant or other new meds it could be
or as a back up you can use fennugreek from gnc or simular shops it really helps
