I mc last month for the fourth time, i've had one mmc and three early mc's. Was waiting for my AF to arrive, a friend told me to test, she said that maybe i could be pregnant again as i kind of been trying so yesterday i did.

Got my :bfp: on a digital clearblue. Went to the doctors today to see if they could do blood tests to check my hcg levels and things early on.

They told me that they're giving me two weeks to mc, if nothing happens after the two weeks then i have to make a appointment to book me in with the midwife.

Really crap and emotional:cry:, once again im left to wait. Before my third mc, i went to see them about my very faint positive test that i got with FR. The doctor gave me a week to mc which it did happen.

Isnt there any tests they can do, i know its too early to scan but there must be something.

I've got my first gyne appointment next wednesday, which they referred me after my fourth mc. Really hoping they might do something.

Wheres the support when you need it the most?
Sorry just needed to get it all out.
xxxx

 im sorry for your losses hun

but what makes the doctors think you may miscarry again? is it just because you are pregnant again so soon after your most recent loss? x

There are tests which measure the HCG in your blood and can tell if your levels are rising as they should be but I don't think these tests are routinely offered on the NHS unfortunately :hugs:

Im so sorry that you aren't getting any support but I know after my 2 losses, my doctors told me to go back when I am 8wks pregnant... they don't seem to be interested until that point :(

I suppose the way they see it - if a mc is gonna happen there is nothing they can do to prevent it - but that really sucks when you are the one who is pregnant and terrified

Im sorry I can't be more help hun & I wish you all the luck in the world & really hope that your pregnancy is successful this time xx

:hug:to you.

:hug:That's awful! They could measure your HCG to see how things are progressing! I would also ask about baby aspirin to I have had 2 m/cs and my gynae has recommended I take the low dose 75mg.....And I didn't test positive for the blood clotting disorder he said it helps the flow of blood to the uterus and will do no harm to take it, but he also said he could not guarantee it would help either but I am giving it a go....Good luck sweetie x x x x x

Thats crappy so sorry you have all this worry at a time that should be happy. They should offer you some hcg tests ,although i have heard they can be very unpredictable and can sometimes cause more anxiety than less. What an awful thing to say though go home and see if you m/c. You should talk to your gynae next week see if they can do anything to help.
best of luck wishing you all the sticky in the world.

xx

Maybe you will have more luck with your gynae on Wednesday? Hope it works out for you this time.

I agree they should test your hcg levels and atleast see how its progressing. It is alot to have to wait. My gyn told me just today besides the hcg levels they can monitor your hormones to see what else is going on in the body as well, so you may have to stay on top of your dr's or switch to someone who is more interested in you and this process.

Forget your doctor (well not altoghter ) and phone your Early Pregnancy Unit. They will repeat the bloods every 48 hours.

This happened to me at the end of last year, I by passed the doctor and phoned the EPU and they were fantastic, monitored me every two days with my bloods.

Also, my Chemical pregnancy in November the Consultant done my bloods when i called him in December to say I was pregnant he advised me to take 75mg of Asprin.

Thank you for all your comments. Our EPU, you can only go through your GP or through your consultants.

Been really paranoid today, its been constant knicker checking and the slightest odd cramp makes me panic like hell.

Really hoping for the two weeks to pass quickly with a sticky bean.

Oh no, it's funny how the NHS works in different area's of the country!

Well, got everything crossed for you and hopefully the consultant will do something for you when you see him :hugs:

How awful to send you home to worry. They could have at least said something encouraging!! Jerks. :dohh:
I hope that you have better luck with your gyne and I agree with the girls, ask about an HCG test to ease your mind.
Try to take it easy hun. :hugs:

How awful! Well you have support here, and we will all be thinking and praying for you and for you to have a sticky one! :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Thank you guys sooo much. It brings me to tears (in a good way) to get such good support from you guys.

Spent the last six days continously symptom spotting and knicker checking. Got really good comfort and support from my wonderful DH and my managers (they're husband and wife) at work.

My gyne appointments tommorrow morning, been feeling really nervous. I hope they do something to check that my bean is ok.

Hello just got back from my gyne appointment.

The nurse took my urine sample and tested it for god knows what. She weighed me and checked my height. Then i had to sit back down in the waiting room.

An hour later i saw my consultants doctor who works with him. She was asking me about me. We asked me when my last period was. Told her last month and that i did a HPT and it was positive and told her the doctor told me to weight two weeks in case i bled. She seemed annoyed that the doctor hadnt let them know.

Had to give another urine sample and they did a pregnancy test which came back positive. She said that they cant test me for recurrent mc yet if im pregnant.

Had bloods done, they took nine bottles one of them is to check my HCG levels.

Got to go back in two weeks, they want to see me and they've booked me in for a early scan. She said that if i start bleeding then to call the EPU immediately.

Suppose it went well but i dont know why im feeling sad.

Are you sad because you still don't know whats going on? Try to be hopefully and mostly vigilant about whats going on with your body so you can get to your doctors if needed. My prayers are with you and I hope the doctors and the universe work together to let this be a good pregnancy for you:)
