OH loves one, i love the other.......

which do you think for if we have a :blue: bub? xxx

voted Darcy- but I am an English teacher, so I like the pride and prejudice connection!!

i prefer Darcy, and like above its because of the pride and prejudice connection (BBC version, not the more recent one)

If i had to choose id say Darcy. But thats because my cousins last name is Marshall

I voted for Marshall. I like both, but Darcy to me is more of a girls name. :flower:

i like marshall i no a couple of little girls called darcey x

Darcey I see as a girls name - and Marshall reminds me of Eminem haha!

Sorry x

Definitely Marshall for me...Darcy is a common girls name where I live.

I prefer Marshall. I've always thought of Darcy as more of a girls name x

Always thought Darcy was a girls name. Like the famous ballerina Darcey Bussell.

Another person who thinks of Darcy as a girl's name. I also know a couple of people with little girls called Darcy.

Sorry I'm with the others thinking Darcy as girls name.
I quite like Marshall though :)

I've also only heard Darcy as a girl's name... and think it sounds feminine... sorry....

Marshall is kinda cute... but what would you call him for short... "Marsh"? :nope:

How about Mitchell -- very similar to Marshall -- but with the nn "Mitch"

Marshall. Definitely. I don't like Darcy at all... and I see it as more of a girly name.

Love Darcy - I've loved Mr. Darcy since the first time I read P&P at age 13! And I do not like Marshall - it's a cowboy name (Marshall Dillon).

But go with what makes you and OH happy! :)

Marshall was on our list of names.

hehe!! I love Darcy because of Mr Darcy :winkwink: and OH likes Marshall because of the character on 'How i met your mother' (tv prog)

I have to admit that yes Darcy is uber poplar for girls..... but (mostly because of Mr darcy) i think its sooo more suited to boys... but maybe not a good idea if a lot of girls are currently called it.... wouldn't be nice to have the same name as his gf huh?

Marshall reminds me of marshall mathers too, thats the first thing i said when OH said it....

Right... back to the drawing board me thinks.... thanks for all your input ladies :flow:

Is Darcy a unisex name then? I know two Darcy's but both are girls. x
