So my baby's Godparents have just asked what to get E for her birthday. They gave me 3 things they were looking at and which one would be best. I've said all look great and I don't really know either, so thought I'd ask for some opinions on here. Does anyone have any/some/all of these, and which do you prefer? If you had to pick one to buy, which would you pick and why?

1) Fisher Price Stroll and Play Walker

My only issue with this is that E is not walking yet, and does not pull herself up and is unable to stand unaided. However it would be good for her to grow into and for her to push her "babies" around!

2) Fisher Price Laugh and Learn Teaset

3) Shape Sorting Bus

No idea, but I've got the tea set for my dd who'll be 10mths at Christmas. I like the idea of us having tea & cake together, albeit toy cake!

I think I would pick the walker. I loved walking my dolls around when I was little, it helps with learning to walk, and its really cute hahaha.

I LOVE toy cake!! It's as nice as plastic bananas, eggs and other food! :haha:

Yeah, though she's not crawling yet, so it might take ages for her to grow into it. Plus then she might ant a proper dolly buggy ... I dunno

We have the tea set, Tabitha sits and "drinks" from the cups, its very cute! The musical teapot does get hidden sometimes tho....

The shape sorter bus would be good for challenging her, but I don't know if it would be too difficult for her?? It does say 6+months though ... Also, a shape sorter was something we were thinking of getting her ... But I think at the stage of development she's at I'm not sure if it would be hard for her to do - assuming she actually tries to play with it and not eat the shapes!

Reading from your posts i'd go for the tea set hun.

We're getting Millicent that for her birthday or Christmas and my hubbys cousin & aunty have gotten her the buggy and doll  xx

Id go for the buggy!

Paige LOVES dolls... its actually kinda scary how much she likes them! And my MIL has bought her a buggy (a reall dolls buggy) and she cant walk yet either! Although she is close and Im crossing my fingers she can bu Christmas. Even if your LO cant walk yet, Im sure she would enjoy playing with it, and you could balance her so that she can still push it? Thats what I done when I took Paige to a toddlers thing, all be it my back was killing me!

I LOVE that Tea Set!

Having said that, Kaylum's favourite toys at the moment are his shape sorters ... he has two, one at my house and one at home and they are the first things he gets out ... he has a buggy (a really sturdy wooden one which I have made into a 'fire truck' with ladders, bells and Fireman Sam) but even though he is solid on his feet he doesn't play with it anywhere near as much as he does his shapes - I think he loves the interaction with his grown ups that comes with them :flower:

We have the tea set, Rosa got it last xmas and it is fun, Kara loves the music on it too so they "play" with it together now
