Hi,

I want to introduce yogurt as a dessert for my 6 month baby. Which one can i give him - normal ones from the supermarket that are also suitable for adults?

Liam can't have dairy and the health visitor said normal soya yoghurts for adults are fine, even probiotic ones.. So maybe normal dairy yoghurts would be fine! I think fromage frais is good (munch bunch, petit filous etc)

much bunch and petit filous are full of sugar. Plum, Little Yeo (the small pots) and Rachel's organic have no added sugar.

Or, just buy a tub of plain yogurt and mix fruit puree in.

Hi,

Thanks. I make fruit purees for the LO anyway. Would it be ok to mix those with greek yogurt for dessert?

we use yobaby in the refridgerated section...i like the ones with fruits and veggies for a snack and it actually tastes really good. (i have to taste test everything...formula, food, meds even...before it goes in haleys mouth...its like o.c.d :haha:)

Thats actually one of MY favourite desserts now too - it's lovely :) and I have honey with mine.

I give Ronan plain, full fat greek yoghurt which he loves by itself but I also mix in fruit or fruit purees sometimes too.
