While ttc can materna be mixed with evening primrose oil?

Hi ladies! I've been off birth control since May 2011 and at that time my doc told me to start taking prenatal vitamins but i didnt start taking them until November 2011. Hubby and I started ttc last month and since AF started today I decided to start taking evening primrose oil bc I heard that can help with cm. Does anyone know if it's ok to mix materna and epo?
