So Caoimhe has never been the greatest sleeper and I was used to going in to her around 1am and 6am just to lay her back down and cover her up to go back to sleep but for the past week or so she has been terrible at going to bed (usually she will go straight up and fall asleep on her own) and she is waking up at the exact same time every morning (3.27) screaming and sobbing her heart out. She will not go back to sleep in her own bed, I have tried everything, sitting with her, singing, humming, silence, lights on, lights off, laying with her, nothing works. She ends up in my bed after an hour or so but even then she seems to be crying out in her sleep and then waking herself up.
I thought maybe she was having nightmares (if it's possible at that age) but it's every night!
Any ideas????? She's not teething so I don't think she is in pain from her mouth, she is on lactulose at the moment due to not going to the toilet, could she have tummy pains and this is causing the crying out?
I'm so tired
Xx
