Peter and I both have 2 middle names, so we'll be continuing that with our kids. Peter told me a few months ago that he wants to exclusively use names that have already been used in either of our families, so we made a list and we've come up with:
William Jacob Peter for our first son, or Sarah May Elizabeth for our first daughter.
William after Peter's grandfather / one of his own middle names / a favourite name for both of us.
Jacob after my grandfather.
Peter after Peter, of course / has always been my #1 favourite boy's name.
Sarah has always been my favourite girl's name, and it's present in both our families.
May is a traditional middle name for the eldest daughter in my family (it's one of my middle names, too).
Elizabeth after Peter's great grandmother.
