No-one!!! How crap is that. OUr town council decided couple of years ago that it was too dangerous having a celebrity (yes very dangerous depending on who LOL) and that the crowd got too big and it was against health and safety. We used to he loads of diff people but now its just some people from our town dressed up forming a procession thing and a fairy waves her wand and they go on as she goes past.

Lol no I didn't in the end, what a shame! I'm going to the Ormskirk switch on on Friday though. Noone interesting at ALL turning on the lights there, it's just the mayor lol

Last year Eoghan Quigg from the x-factor got special leave to come home and do the ones in the shopping centre.

Do you think it is a bit embarassing for the "celebs" to be invited to do the Christmas tree lights? I mean, the lights in London fair enough, but to be asked to come and do some small wee town in Northern Ireland, do you think they cry to themselves going "I thought I was famous, how embarrassing, boo hoo hoo." ?????
