Who was telling me about wondfos?

I ordered a BBT thermometer which came today, and it came with three wondfo tests. Someone was just telling me the other day that these were good for early testing and better than regular ICs - but I can't find the thread. Does anyone know why they're so different, is there any special way to use them or anything? Are they more or less sensitive than FRER?
