Yup. I think I know whats going on.

I think it was Max, and Claire knows it was him. But if she blames Warren she doesnt have to sell the club to him cause he will be inside and she wont have to worry about him taking his revenge out on her which she knows is coming otherwise. Plus she can then blackmail Max and get him to pay out Mercys compensation claim and prob get the flat off him too.
