okay so I had my implant taken out on the 23rd October and ever since me and my other half have been having unprotected sex as we are trying to conceive; but nothing seems to be happening? sometimes I think I'm pregnant cause I have mild symptoms but everytime I do a test it seems to be negative 😞

I know how you feel :(

Started ttcing end of September and I don't think I ovulated the first couple months off bcp but this month I had all kinds of ovulation symptoms. I think I ovulated around the ninth , and that fits the timing that my app said too. Anyway, it's been two weeks I had spotting today so I think af is on it's way :(

My cycles have been really long so I'm surprised my af is here right when my app said it would be though, today's cd41, last cycle was 48 days. So I guess it's good if they're getting shorter. But I also had all kinds of symptoms this past week, off and on nausea and my boobs have been super tender and sensitive and areaola were darkened and enlarged, gave me all kinds of false hope!

It's just so frustrating and disappointing. Why does it have to be so hard to get pregnant but then other people have no problem??

Hey. Firstly good luck and I really hope you'll get there. We have been trying for about a year. Have had 2 successful pregnancies however both times resulting in miscarriage. It can be emotionally exhausting waiting each month with fingers crossed. Good luck to you

Thanks. Good luck to you too! I knew it may take a while so I thought I was going into it prepared but it's so hard.

You want to wait to start ttcing when you're ready, but then you are ready so you want it to happen quickly!

That's so sad 😞😞 I hope you finally get there love, x

I ask myself this question every day. I did get pregnant last August but miscarried in October. My doctor said it is perfectly normal for it to take up to a year, but it is very frustrating when you're trying for months and months. Each month feels like a lifetime!
Good luck to all of you ladies, I hope you'll be holding your babies in your arms very soon :dust:

Always be grateful and wait for His time. :flower:

It's perfectly normal for TTCing to take up to 1 year. The chances each month for conceiving, depending on your age, is between 15-20% even if you're BDing at the right times during your cycle. I think the average time it takes to conceive is between 6-8 months.

Depending on where you live, if your under 35, then you need to have been TTCing for 1 year before your GP will get you and your DH tested. If your 35 or over, than it's after 6 months.

So yeah, it can take a while.
