why aren't signatures in mc section?

Sorry to ask a perhaps stupid question, but I go into mc section alot to offer help (mc, two chemicals before rainbow) and always have to say I had an mc, particulars, etc., when trying to post -- is there a reason why mc doesn't allow sigatures? You'll note that I posted a thread a month or so ago about whether the ladies minded survivors of mc and mums posting (and with my avatar of my LO) and nobdy minded...........I am NOT trying to upset anybody, but .........it's just that I feel that I have to go over and over my mc (as signature is not shown) so that poster doesn't feel that I don't understand...if that makes sense?

However, I DO understand the very sensitive nature of ladies having mc, having been there -- but the other loss forums do allow signatures....

Signatures are turned off in that forum to avoid upsetting anyone. I believe that the staff determined that people having pregnancy tickers and such could be difficult for some (not all) members who have suffered a loss and are still grieving. I know if I had a miscarriage the last thing I would want to see is someone else's pg ticker so I think it was a great idea to turn signatures off in that forum.

When the decision was made it was made by the members. The same rules once applied to the Stillbirth's, Neonatal Loss & SIDS section however the members again made the final decision. Most members within this section share pictures where we found within the other sections (miscarriage support & second tri loss') most members became more upset with the pregnancy tickers (especially the baby gaga tickers).
