why does no one else like Starla!

My mum hates it, hubby said its bizarre, but im really keen on it!
Does anyone else like it, or do you think its a bit too "out there" if you know what i mean !

I dont think its 'out there' at all, its a nice name, Ive heard of Stara but not Starla, so i think its pretty original xx

I really like the name Starla, mentioned it to OH and he said there is a porn star called Starla Sterling and said he couldn't use that name because that's all he would associate it with.

Not sure how he knew about that tho, naughty boy!

I have a friend named Starla, and it suits her perfectly. I love the name.
Use it if you love it! Maybe try it for a middle name if your OH doesn't like it as much as you do... or just start referring to the baby as Starla, he'll get used to it.

Tbh I don't really like it... I think it's because it reminds me of my mom's friend Marla... and I hate that name, lol. A name that's similar that I really love is Twila.

I really like it! I think it's pretty! I can see how it's not a name everyone might like... but as long as you can get your OH on board... i think your daughter would like having the name!

My brother used to date a girl named Starr... which i always thought was so pretty!
