Since Alex gets one bottle feed a day at 11am, Robs mum is taking Alex from 8am to 1pm, so she gives him the bottle feed.
Asked her if she wanted a carton or if she was happy with powder milk, says back to me "any will do, which ever lets me have him longer" :dohh:

Sooo just had to explain to her why she cant have Alex past 1pm as the feed at 2pm id need to do myself etc.

:grr: It bugs me when they say stuff like that - I feel like they arent taking it seriously and they're just thinking about themselves and their own needs before the baby's......:(

MILs grrrr. We were out the other day and mine saw someone she knew and the lady said to her "She's beautiful. I bet you spoil her don't you?" and she said, "well, I haven't had the chance yet. She's breastfed, you see." WTF!!!!! I think her point was that she hasn't been able to have her for long periods but what a way to word it!

No one has had Hebe overnight yet! Even if she wasnt BF I dont want them to!

:rofl: My SIL is like this - earlier she said to me "why dont u every give anyone else a go" :dohh: It seems like if u havent BF ur kids urself u just dont understand - if OH's family try to tell me the joys of FFing im gunna scream!!!
:dohh:

God I though mine was bad refusing to give Nathan back when he needs fed all because her and my FIL are embarrassed by me breastfeeding!

xx

Hannah's bottle fed and I still won't let anyone have her longer than an hour :blush: Certainly not over night

I won't express a bottle if my mum or Mil's coming coz they would just "want a go" of feeding. Maybe I'm a bitch but I do it so Chris can feed her and get close to her...not for them to play Mummies and babies:dohh:

I'm such a cow aren't I:blush::dohh::rofl::muaha:

Well, I can say I have the one MIL that is totally supportive of my BFing. She thinks it is wonderful that we have made it this far, and should keep going.

maddi is ff but i too would still take offensive at this! big :hugs: sweetie x x

MIL dont get it at all!

No one has had Jack overnight yet and they wont be for a long time x

lol my MIL didnt understand either! when i told her i'd stopped, she just said "oh good!!" i could have shot her!! they just dont understand anything really, she told me she couldnt BF cos she had no milk...followed by saying "so i got the doc to give me tablets to dry up my milk!" :dohh:

Haha....that's the sort of dumb ass thing my MIL would say. She said to me that breastfeeding just seems sort of perverse to her:saywhat: then when I had fed a couple of babies she said that it was a shame she couldn't breastfeed coz of the medication that she took for epilepsy:dohh:. She was obviously never gonna do it anyway and she'd took the same meds all through pregnancy....was gonna make no difference taking them while breastfeeding now was it?:dohh::gun:

take it she doesn't know the reason you've stopped then eh Alice?:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

:dohh:

I'm lucky my MIL breastfed so she understands!

Nope you're not a cow - I'm planning on doing the EXACT same thing - I'll express after about 6 weeks or so but only so Jason can feed him not for anybody else and not while anyone else is around either:smug:

I'm being selfish in a way cos it's MY time with him and I'm so looking forward to it the whole feeding and bonding experience and don't want to share - but I don't care lol

Mine mine mine!!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:
