I bf my 1st til he was 11 mths old , All my family ff their children so it was kinda "taboo" for me to bf, A bit like i was being talked about a lot.
Then when i did finally stop the bf i heard " how come its took you this long to stop bf " I mean what a question lol

I fully intend on bf this bump too if all goes well of course
But i also want to express a little more then bumps daddy can do more feeds, & also the night time feeds. He wants to gain that bond & i'm more than happy to express for him to feed but i wont be doing it on demand for everybody else not a chance. Its about our baby & us , Sod everyone else x

My mum once said my aunt should stop bfing completely so other people could look after the baby... she was 2 months old

what a silly thing to expect they can be so selfish at times, my mil said awwww Helen don't bf we need to bond with the baby too y'know.

when i told her i wasnt feeding after 3 weeks of battling, she said 'well i told you not to bother in the first place' grrrr

result of those comments means she hasnt taken rhys further than a walk round the block in which she went via her house and when i pulled up he was on the sofa asleep she said her legs got tired she did ring oh to tell him she'd gone home and to drive her car round (like that meant it was ok). so that wont happen again. and over my dead body will he go over night. so she's shot herself in the foot now

cant they just let us mum's get on with it, stick to your guns...

My MIL tells me to make him wait for the boob and stop 'topping him up' every hour as he is never getting hungry and getting a full feed!!! Errrr no, well sorry if he wants booby he gets it!!
