Why is it he has such bad timeing?

Every time I go to cook Brian his lunch he falls asleep
No matter what time I do it or what I cook for him he falls asleep a few seconds befor its finished.
I was just going to do him sanwiches today for a change but as soon as I get the crusts cut off its zzzzzzzzz

I dont have the heart to prod him awake because god knows when ill be able to get him to have a nap afterwards so most of the time his food goes to waist because cant reheat it or I eat it.
Iv even tried waiting to see if hell have a nap first then by 1:30 he hasnt so I start doing it turn around and hes fast asleep.
I cant win

From reading on another thread, your a bit of a health and safety, food hygieney type person but can you not just refigerate his food til he wakes up again?!

Not realy because he wont touch it cold and im not thrilled on reheating.
Plus I already ate his sandwich now

Hes awake now and giving me a right mouthfull because his lunch is late like its my fault.
I think I just got shouted at and told to get in the kitchen and make me a sandwich by a 1 year old
