Why is my baby awake?

Louis has done the same thing a few times recently, woken up as if he is scared or had a bad dream, I always find it better to kind of wake him up a little to kind of "snap" him out of his crying/scream which he usually does with his eyes closed, as if he is still asleep..

I being him into my room (where the tv is usually on because I cant sleep without it on) and then that distracts him and makes him forget whatever started him off, then I just give him a little cuddle, a quick bit of his water and then back into bed, its much quicker than anything else I've tried, I hope that helps! xx

Benn went through a stage of doing the same. Im pretty sure it was night terrors he did it for a week and then went back to his usual weekend. It was an awful week i hate being out of routine it really through me cus i didnt know what to do!
