Sorry for the weirdness haha but I'm curious to know if miscarriage blood smells? Like really foul and egg like. If this brings any sad memories for people, I'm so sorry

When I had my miscarriages it smelt like period blood/ lochia mix but after my first son, there was some retained placenta and it did end up having a smell due to infection. Hope you're ok?

Hi hun, That could indicate some kind of infection. I could be wrong but I recall the doctor saying if discharge becomes foul smelling to contact him as soon as possible.

Eggy smell indicates rotting flesh in my experience, so possibly some sort of infection or retained products if you have had a miscarriage.
