Will hospital encourage a VBAC? Can they deny a 2nd cs?

I had Jace via emcs as I had a placental abruption at 38 weeks, labour never started just my placenta gave out due to blood clots from high blood pressure.
They also noted that my placenta was extremely calcified which is usually only shown in people who are overdue or smoked during preg (but can also be caused by Bp)
We are now discussing baby number 2 but I WANT a scheduled cs at 37 weeks, the fact that my placenta was already in an
"Overdue" state at 38 weeks makes me think towards the end I would be afraid every day!

Do you think I'd get this?
Can they ever say "no" to a repeat cs and make u wait til full term
And go naturally? It is more that I'm afraid to go to full term than anything

I don't know what it's like in Australia but here in my area of the UK it was my choice with my second whether to go for vbac or have an elective c section.

In the UK my midwife said fine for c section with my 2nd but am facing a lot of resistance from the v. vbac midwife. But guidelines say they have to offer you a c section. Not sure it would be at 37 weeks though but I would just stick to your guns if that's what you decide.

Here in the UK you get a choice second time round..... it's usually scheduled for 39 weeks over here, but you may have a case for 37 weeks onwards because of the troubles last time x

i am in the uk and i had to fight to have my second c section not sure about over there but if they won't and it is what you wanted i would fight for it but i would think they would advise it and they would do it earlier too xxx

In the US it is highly recommended to have a c-section if you had previously had one. Delivering a baby vbac is risky to both mother and baby but has been done and can be done.
