Will I EVER find someone else?

It has been 14 months since my ex and I ended things. Since then we have been raising our 18 month old daughter together. He has been in 3 or 4 different relationships since our split - but I haven't been in even one.

Personally, I work 40+ hours a week. My ex takes our daughter every weekend, picks her up Friday at 3pm and keeps her till Monday at 9am. I don't go out, I work 16hrs straight on Saturday's and then go back on Sundays and work a regular 8hr shift. I work from 4 to 10pm on Friday's. Sundays I get off at around 2pm but I am beat, so I definitely don't go out!

All I am saying is, when do I get to meet someone? When will I find a balance between work and parenting?

I know how you feel. Its not been long since I split with my ex this time but he wasn't James's dad. I split with James's dad a year ago. When I met my ex I was still on mat leave. I've no idea how I am going to meet anyone this time. I work full time as a nurse. I work nights and weekends as well as during normal hours. The last time I went out with friends was March! But we will get there!

i wouldn't keep tracks of how long till you meet someone look at your ex 3 or 4 different ex's already and you dont have one-see that as a positive thing?

someone will come along when the time is right and will love and accept you for you and every aspect of your life,we can't go looking for the one we have to wait for them to find us x

Ahh, I'm on the same boat over here. *hugs* My ex-husband (last I heard, he will not talk to me) is in a serious relationship with an old ex of his. Our divorce was messy and, in my opinion, a HUGE mistake on my part. I love him dearly. I have three children (not his) and dating is just not happening. It is very lonely.
