hey ladies just couple quick questions.

first off my son is almost 6months old, hes sitting unaided and rolling back and forth himself n he slides backwards so im wondering if its still nessacary to put him feet to bottom in his cot? as i find even if i do this in seconds hes wriggled half way up the cot , which comes to my second qu, i bought my son the i love my bear bedding set and the last couple of week my son has been having sleep difficulties, so i took a shot a couple days ago n tried him with the small duvet that came with the set and he snuggled and was asleep within minuites. i thought id try it as he always sleeps well in my bed, and this has been working great the last couple of nites, so im asking is this fine ? i thought it wud be now hes moving great that should be fine and no problems so far. though im thinking it wud be better if i cud place him higher up in cot.

ne answers wud be great and ive hoped ive made sense

thanks

xx:hug:

We lay Hannah towards the head of her bed but she wriggles all over the place at night  As for the cover, we only use a light one with Hannah so I'm not really sure

Maybe let him fall asleep then swap to a lighter cover? and id continue to put his feet to the bottom of the cot just to be sure.

Kathryn had the same problem of wriggling and rolling all over the crib and bashing her head in the corner and getting it stuck there. We've rolled up a receiving blanket and stuck it at the head of the crib and it seems to help. Also we don't put her feet at the bottom as she'll kick the foot board, we put her far down, but high enough so her feet are safely out of reach of the foot board.

umm i've NEVER put Jasmine feet to the bottom... lol.. When she was little I put her in the middle but now she moves anywhere anyway.

Not sure about the cover hun. But Grace is a wriggler and if I put her on her back at the bottom of her cot 5 minutes later she is on her front, bum in the air, with her head right at the top of it! But she is obviously most comfortable that way, if she wasn't she would move. I think it's ok

Chloe never keeps still, but she goes in a sleeping bag so it doesnt matter where I put her- she usually ends up on her side with her arms hanging out of the bars!

Jacob sleeps at the top of the cot. He wriggles like god know's what so i need to bumper where his head is to stop banging ive also started to pad out the sides with blankets and he wriggles so much! XxX

no matter where you put maddi she wakes up else where :dohh: we use sleeping bags so unsure about covers x
