Will my weight be an issue?

Hello there,

I have now had my abnormal cells on my cervix removed and am in the healing process as we speak. Hopefully my next smear will come back clear!!!

My question is:

I am classed as Obese with a BMI of 31.5 although i feel pretty healthy. I like the way i look and am comfortable with my weight. Love my hips, bum n boobs I am 5ft 3 and nearly 13 stone.

Will the doctors take this into consideration when i ask why i havent conceived yet?? I was hoping that they would do some tests to see if im ovulating as i dont get really dark opks and my temps are pretty rubbish!

I want a baby so much and will do anything it takes. I will lose weight if i have to but i am quite happy as i am

I DON'T think You'll have a problem to get investigations with 31.5 hun, but should you need IVF, you may need to get to 30 (just b4 you start).... DON'T you just hate the standardisation? Good luck hun! Remember, you must be trying for an year b4 they start investigation! X

I looked on the nhs website and they said to be around 10 stone is a heathly weight for someone of my height. I was 10.6 for my wedding and i didnt like the way i looked.

I cant for another 6 weeks so by the time that passes i would have hit the 11 months mark so only another month to wait until i go docs!!

I just wanted to find out if they would ask me to lose weight first. This way i can lose weight b4 going docs (although i cant see me losing 3 stone in 2 months ) and then there 'shouldnt' be any hold ups

But the doctors would have my notes of when my depo shot ran out. I dont think i could get away with it (as much as i want too)
