will they confirm at 17 weeks?

Soo I had my early scan at 14 weeks 5 days, they said girl I have attatched the pictures... tomorrow morning I am going in for a growth scan, and I will be 17 weeks 3 days do you think they will confirm? is it likely to have changed from these pictures?? i really want a girl lol I have 2 little boys already. We have a name picked out and everything for her, just so nervous to have her change genders or loose baby completely!! UGH... stinking anxiety..

I believe they should if they get a good angle. Another BnBer is having her scan tomorrow at just over 16 weeks, and she said she will be finding out the sex. 20 weeks I think is the norm, but 16-17 weeks I have heard being told. FXed for your girlie!

They didtn get a good potty shot but she looked and saw nothing there so she said girl too, it looks like the swelling has gone down from the labia maybe but she didnt try very hard to look I have another ultrasound in 4 weeks

You can try posting your pics. A lot of ladies here are well versed in nub and skull theories and what not. It's not an exact science, but can help pass the time until your next scan! happy for your tentative girlie!

Looks like a girl to me! Girl parts sometimes tend to look like a heart shaped area. How sweet is that!? Congrats! We just found out we're having a girl today but I'm going to wait on my anatomy scan at 20 weeks to confirm and go shopping!
