Hi guys. I am pregnant again this is my fifth pregnancy but i only have one child whose almost five years old and have beem TTC for two years . No luck for 18 months and now i have has three miscarriages sice february. Im pregnant again and supposed to be monitored for being high risk but it happened so fast that my referrals to specialists are not getting through fast enough .

I woke up this morning to cramps ans my boobs are not as sore as they were. I am going for bloodwork to monitor my hcg levels every 48 hours and i am expecting to see them drop today as this is exactly how things started the lasr three times too

Ao anyway my question is .. if i losw this baby too . Do you think theyll agree to tie my tubes?? So that i never have to experience this heartache again. I am so depressed right now i feel like there is no hope. I am only 25 but seriously i cant do this over amd over again and have loss after loss its too devestating and hars on my relationship.

I'm so sorry to hear this and hope you are wrong about this pregnancy, and that it progresses beautifully!
Where are you at?
I'm in the uk and I think it's decided case by case. I think in your situation they'd be reluctant to do it because of your age, and also so soon after a miscarriage (again I'm hoping that won't happen) where your hormones and emotions are going to be all over. I think they'd at least want a 'cooling off' period and councilling.
I'm pretty sure they'd be happier steering you towards long term contraception if it was really what you wanted.

Thanks i know youre probably right. Horomonal contraception really messes witg my body and i dont really feel like using condoms with my hubby. But i cant keep goig through this over and over again. Its ruining me.

I have similar feelings at times, but for me I just can't supress that urge to have one final healthy baby. I wish there was an off switch to our feelings at times.
I think the copper coil is hormone free.
I would definitely consider other options to sterilisation first because it would be awful to get it done and then regret it.
Fingers crossed for this little baby.

I am so so so sorry. My heart is going out to you, big massive hugs!! I'm currently having miscarriage, and this is my first. I'm on an emotional roller coaster. I am hoping a playing this pregnancy will proceed.

I personally would not get my tubes tied. Suffering through loss after loss is rough...but imagine the possible regret years later. To know that you have taken away your choice, your option.

I have heard of many women who had tons of miscarriages and suddenly something changed and things go well. A friend of mine was close to losing hope and suddenly she had two kids in a row. You are so young, you have time to find the reason and get different opinions.

A possible reason for me is low progesterone. I wasn't tested but I have had symptoms of it. I was near infertility 2 years ago with 40 day cycles and nothing but black spotting, very painful.
Then I tried an alternative route and regulated my hormones with supplements such as DIM, Calcium D Glucarate, Milk Thistle, Burdock Root and Vitex. Within months my fertility returned. It was amazing and baffled doctors.
I get pregnant right away, but the reason I suspect low progesterone is because women that have estrogen dominance to some degree often do not produce adequate amounts of progesterone and lose pregnancies because of that. I also have a pituitary tumor which suppresses progesterone production.

I think any woman with fertility problems might benefit from taking the time to regulate her hormones by detoxing from excess estrogen and such with said supplements. The first time I took all for 6 months which had the best effects, prior to this pregnancy I had only taken DIM for three months in small doses. I was not planning to be pregnant just yet. I definitely would do a major detox after and before every pregnancy. Though I waited until over a year postpartum when my son was not breastfeeding as much anymore. It had no adverse effects on breastfeeding though.
