Will you record your birth?

I think that video is beautiful. I would love to have it recorded, I'm just not sure how I would feel about having a "random" in the room who isn't a medical professional x

Yeah that's a good point... still, I feel like I would regret it if I didn't record, or at least have some one taking pictures

Nope, I will not be recording the birth. It would be my first and I have no idea what to expect. I've also already stated that I want my doctor and my OH in the room only. No one else. Maybe I'd consider it the second time around but not now.

I thought the video was very nicely done. Definitely something you could share with your child as they got older. If I had a video done I don't think I would want to see all the gory stuff, and I know my husband wouldn't. So that video would be something I would be interested in, I just don't know how i would feel having a stranger in there with me. It might be awkward and steal from the intimacy of the moment that I want to share with my husband.

Absolutely not!! I wouldn't have been able to anywya for LO as I had a section, and as I'll probably going down that route again with next bub I won't have the choice. Even if I could I don't think I'd want it. I do have a photo of Lo's bare bum as the surgeon lifted her out of me and photo of us in theatre still.

I have one image burned into my memory though of the surgeon lifting her up to show me over the drapes. That memory is so precious and I think I'd like a picture of that next time
