How absolutely bloody ridiculous, and so what if she has .. i don't think it warrants the death penalty!

What is the world coming to!

Hmmm I dunno whilst of course I think this is absolutely crazy and barbaric!

I think our Government should just leave it alone - we always get involved in everything.

I agree with arcadia unfortunately.

We all judge others actions based on what we find socially acceptable. The culture of this woman differs from ours and as such her treatment differs.

I dont agree with it BUT at the same time I dont think its out place to step in or to get involved.

Its our beleif that death by stoning is unacceptable but in her culter adultery is unacceptable.... so whats the difference iyswim.

I think that is vile and disgusting. Adultery doesn't warrant the death penalty and especially death by stoning. But having said that, our government needs to stop involving itself in other governments business. To their government that is just a form of punishment for something they regard as a terrible criminal act worthy of a death sentence. As horrible as the reality is :nope:

It is disgusting and where i believe we should but out more, surely by staying silent their views and discrimination are never challenged.

I agree. If other governments got themselves involved in how our country was run i think their would be an outcry. Whilst I too think its utterly barbaric and disgusting, this is how it has been done in their country for decades. We should leave well alone. If they succeed in saving this woman then what does that mean for future things we dont agree with? Its their country, their government. Leave it be.

as awful as it is i think our government should sort out our country before interfering with others

As someone who lives in Saudi Arabia, I would be more concerned that she did not have a fair hearing that led to this judgement. It is an awful ,prolonged death

It's a barbaric act. No matter what she did.

I agree we should be more concerned about our own counrty BUT the UN needs to step in
xx

In this day and age its an absolute disgrace that they can still let this kind of thing happen.

I read that the womans hands are tied, body put in a 'bag' and buried in ground up to the neck.

that pic of the woman being buried will give me nightmares...thank god we live in a country where that doesnt happen or half the people i know would be dead :(

Its awful, but i agree with the others that our country should stay out of it.

Thats barbaric.
I don't think our country should have set out to get involved no - but they were asked by that womans son, since we are both democratic and influential with the UN to help. I don't believe we should turn our back on a cry for help. That woman doesn't deserve to die. Especially since the ruling was made of 'judicial knowledge' and not actual fact.

I agree though, we need to stay out of it :(
