i totally totally agree that is it a awful way to punish someone, I don't condone it in the slightest, but realistically we can't save the world, as much as we would like too, the line MUST be drawn somewhere, it is sad but true, It's their culture, it's their law's/rules, yes they are different to ours but sadly that is the way of the world and we can't go in there, waving a finger round saying 'this is wrong and that is wrong' that will solve nothing in the long run ..... infact more likely to make things worse for these people. They must think we are awful the way we don't really take things like adultery seriously in this country, it's the way they live their life, the way they are brought up and educated and this is never going to change unless they want it too change (as a whole country) who are we to say what they believe is right or wrong
noone on this thread has said 'oh yes, i agree, let her be stoned' yet we have been called 'inhumane' and told we have 'disgusting attitudes' when we are merely stating that yes it is awful, but as a country we need to tread carefully and not sit here going 'lets save the world'
