wondering how far on i am

Hi everyone. Thought i would share my story and ask for any feedback. Before my last period i had thrush on the week running up to it which i found strange as i had not had it since i was pregnant with my daughter and is usually something i don't suffer with. On the 11th may i started with brown discharge. I took this as my period and didn't think anything else of it other than it was extremely light(always brown blood) and never enough to wear a tampon. It lasted longer too around a week when my periods usually are 3 days. Fast forward to the 3rd of June when i had my smear. I mentioned the thrush to the nurse and she tested for it while performing the smear. She commented that my cervix looked very inflamed and it bled as soon as she touched it. I had bright red blood for around a hour. The week after i had a terrible upset stomach with stomach cramps and when i went to the toilet there would occasionally be brown blood which i took as my next period starting. This lasted a full week. My friend encouraged me to take a test on Thursday which i did and it came back a very dark positive. I was in shock! Now im wondering how far on i actually am. I've been taking it i am 6 weeks but wondering if the first period wasn't a proper one either. Waiting to hear from a midwife for advice noone has been in touch yet. Eeek any ideas ladies x

Agree with RaspberryK! They should be able to do a dating scan for you asap. Congratulations!

id date from your april period too not May which would put you 10weeks ish id call the EPU at your local hospital and get them to scan you

My midwife just rang keep she wants me booking in sooner rather than later just in case so at hospital next Tuesday eeeek
