Wont take his bottle

I havent a clue what is going on in the world of Jacob today but he is refusing to take his bottle, He is starving hungry but everytime I give him a bottle he arches his back and pushes his head back to get it out his mouth! He is not sat on me screaming and I dont know what to do! x

Have you tried changing the teats? Or have you not got to the stage where he will even have the bottle in his mouth??

Poppy refused her EBM bottle when she got to nearly 4 months but I am exclusively breastfeeding so it isn't so much of a problemfor us. Have no idea why she suddenly started to refuse it though? I was told by the h/v to wait til she was starving hungry and to try then but I didn't fancy doing that in the end!

How is he getting on now? Toby went through a phase of doing this and i took him to the doctors as my friend said maybe he had oral thrush and it wa hurting him to suck the teat but doctor said he was teething could jacob be teething? xx
