I BFed in public for the first time today

Before now I have been way too embarrassed but for some reason today, I just thought 'sod it'! Not only that, but we've had so many problems BFing that I never felt I could BF in public as she would always drop the latch and scream so it would take a good 10 minutes to get her feeding properly.

I did it not once, but three times today!

The first time it was in a John Lewis 'parents room' (which are fantastic btw!) and there were a couple of other Mums BFing in there which made me feel a bit more comfortable. A couple of Dads too, but I didn't mind. They even had curtains you could pull round the individual chairs.

Second time was in a packed restaurant though! When I asked if they had a baby changing room to feed in, I was told to use the toilet! Errrrm no, I don't think so! So I fed her there and then at the table. I felt so awkward for a few minutes, then it was fine. She was happy, I was happy, and sod everyone else really! I got to use my really pretty BFing cover for the first time today too.

well done! its not so bad once you get used to it when i was BF i done it everyware! even in the middle of primark once, im not shy tho!
