Hey everybody. I'm 21 weeks today and have felt baby moving since around 16 weeks, so have got used to what the movement feels like.
Today, however, I haven't felt any movement at all and I'm starting to worry. There wasn't much movement yesterday either.
Is this normal or should I be worried?
Any help or advice is much appreciated!

It could be normal due to baby being small and not kicking where you felt him/her. Ring your dr its better to be safe than sorry, good luck hun.

it can be very normal. There are days where I didn't feel Pickle move around much (usually felt most at night but not so much during the day). As I've gotten farther around, I feel him more and more through out the day. But it seems he likes to sleep during the day while I'm moving around, and then become active when I'm getting ready to sleep.

Your LO may be just having some lazy days. But if you are that worried about it, it doesn't hurt to call your doctor.

^^ wss i was also at a stage where my baby was lazy and wasnt moving much but the further you go the less you will worry about movement..i think my baby is gonna be a wild one he moves every other while during the day and night...love feeling him.

I had this too around the same time as you and it was fine . I did ring the midwife though for reassurance she said at this stage they would just look for a hb they won't monitor here until 27 weeks. I used my home doppler and she started wiggling not long after.

I had the same concern at one point with dd1 I called my doctor and he told me to eat a banana and lay down then wait about fifteen or twenty minutes. I did and the baby started moving around. Some days they arent as active as others. Shouldnt worry too much. But a call to your midwife wouldnt hurt.

You can always call your doctor/midwife when having worries or doubts:hugs: but I'm sure baby is just fine!

I've been having some down days with illness lately and haven't felt baby move much the last two days. But every now and then I'll feel a kick and the other day we heard heartbeat again so I think they just have lazy days now and then just like us :)

Well, it seems I spoke too soon... Baby woke me at 4am doing the jig in there! Then all day has been quite active and I've just now felt the biggest kicks yet!!n:happydance:

Normal.

22 weeks and sometimes I don't feel much movement for up to 4 days! And then he'll be active for a couple days and settle right back down. They're still small, right, so sometimes they get into a position you can't feel them. Or my theory for my little guy is he just like's sleeping a lot. I was hoping for an active baby this time. My daughter was EXTREMELY lazy, even at 28 weeks when you're supposed to do kick counts!

You can always call your doctor.

Hahaha, just saw your last post :)

Glad baby started wiggling and jiggling for you again :D
