With this being my third pregnancy, I know that labor can go quickly.
Today was my ob appt and my first cervical check. I was "not too posterior" and about 1cm... she didn't say anything else. When I was wiping up the goop they use afterwards, I noticed what looked like yellow snot on the tissue and figured they knocked loose some mucus plug. Just about 2 hours ago I started having contractions, painful enough that they are keeping me awake and some I have to breathe through... only problem? They are ALL OVER! Anywhere from 1.5 minutes to 7 minutes apart... and anywhere from 30 seconds to 1.5 min long! I feel them mostly in my hips and pelvis, like this poor baby is pushing to get out. LOL.
Should I wait until they get consistent or what? I am thinking of just calling to see what they say. Perhaps asking if there is a way to check my own cervix so I don't get to the hospital too early or late since I would rather labor at home.
Any advice?
