Worried first time mum to be

Hi eveyone,

I'm 36 years old and five months pregnant with my first baby.
I am worried as i have had a brown discharge for the last three days,not sure if it's because i have a low placenta or because my period would be due now.
Hoping it's nothing more serious!

Trying to get an appointment with the doctors on tuesday. Would really appreciate some advice.

hello & welcome to bnb, if it is brown blood it is old blood so that is a good sign, not sure where you are but if you are in uk you could phone nhs direct for advice? xx
