I had a stretchy, snot-like discharge at 16 weeks and my baby is still perfect at 25 weeks. I went to A&E a couple of weeks ago because I had a tonne of it (nearly filled the palm on my hand) and was told that it was my mucus plug and that it grows back. It's not considered an emergency and they just said to watch my symptoms and come back if I started contracting or bleeding at all xx
