Worst couple of days ever :( followed by good news

Well, i just got out of hospital, i got so sick that i got really dehydrated, theres a bit of it going round but i dont have the strongest immune system anyways, but add pregnancy on to that and it just knocked me for six. i was sick pretty constantly for like 12 hours, my lips cracked, my whole body hurt and my wee looked like lucozade, when they checked my urine my ketones were +4. They put me on a drip of iv fluids and paracetamol and anti sickeness meds. Really really horrible experience. After 1.5 l of the fluids the ketones hadnt gone so they kept me in longer. Today they decided to check babys position and were going to try and turn him if he was definitely breech...

well it turns out that after 6 weeks, and at least 8 different medics having a feel- BABY IS NOT BREECH!!! lol, hes been cephalic the whole time, he just has a really big round backside!

Oh God poor you, that sounds awful! I take it you're on the mend now you've been allowed out of hospital?
That did make me crack up about LO's backside! Fantastic that he's head down and has just been fooling everyone

thanks, yes i feel a million times better. i cant beleive little guy fooled so many people, even the registrar couldnt beleive her eyes when she saw the scan lol

hehe, hes not even born and weve got some embarrassing ammunition for when hes a cheeky teenager... 'well just remember the doctors couldnt tell the difference between your bum and your face...' hehe one for when he gets a girlfriend i think
