Come and tell me about your self, situation, how long ttc. Married or not married, age, or anything you want to share so we all can get to know each other a little better.

A little info about me.
Me and husband are 20, january 1st we will be married for 2 years. We used the pull out method for 2 years previous, and when ttc I was worried It would be hard, since so many girls get pregnant that way. But First month ttc we got pregnant and lost our baby anywhere from 6-12 weeks. (long story of missed periods, neg test for months, and had blood confirm so not sure how far along I was) So now this time around I'm on my 8th cycle, and its starting to get the best of me.This month I started taking soy today to help ovulation sooner. Hoping my O day goes from CD21 to CD 16-17 atleast.

hi...
well im 22 OH is 21 almost 22. we will be togather for 4 yrs on valentines day. we used bcp for almost 2 yrs of that but then went to pull out method for a short time then ntnp to ttc. after the bcp i hardly had periods and had alot of pain on my sides by my overies so i stopped the bcp. i tried to figure out what was going on as far as pain and to this day we dont know what it is even after a laproscopy (they did the dye test to) everything shows its ok. anyways....we want to get married in the future.. i just started clomid tonight

Nice to meet you! I did clomid for two cycles in may and june. It had its good and bads. Good thing was I ovulated really early, and period came right on time, and gave me good ovulation. Bad thing about clomid was the Horrible hotflashes, and the ovulation cramps. You will know if you are ovulation on cloimd, its a really sharp pain on of side of your ovaries, almost bring you to your knees for a few seconds. Hope clomid works for you!

ya im kinda waiting for the hotflashes lol. i just want to se if it really happens to me. i cant wait to O and have a chance but i hope the pain is a little worse than my pain i have all the time thats y i cant tell if i O or not is because the pain i already have.i cant wait to have a LO and my mom wants her grandkids now lol

Hi Girls!
I am 28, OH is 31. Together for 7+ years and engaged this summer. We started NTNP in July and went to TTC pretty quickly. I was on BC from time I was 18 until about 2 years ago. Then we started using spermicide figuring if we got pregnant we would be fine with that. I have only had about 8 cycles since coming off the pill so we figured we would start NTNP to see what happened. We both pretty quickly decided we wanted this to happen sooner. I am going to make an Md appt after my next AF if nothing happens this cycle! Are you girls having alot of side effects from the soy and clomid?

Hi, I'm 31 and OH is 44. He's got 3 daughters from his first marriage (aged 20, 19 and 17) but I don't have any kids and no history of ever wondering if I was pregnant either. I'm wondering if I've left it too late. I'm also worried about his age and my weight - I'm over 16 stone. I've always been big though, ever since I was a teenager. I've been going to WW and have lost 12 lbs so far. I'm hoping to get down to about 15 stone before I go back to my GP and ask what the next stage is. Blood tests about 6 months ago were inconclusive as to whether I ovulated or not. I have used CBFM some cycles and have got a peak 2 months so far. We've been trying since July 2009.

Best of luck to everyone :) and hope you get your BFP soon :D

nice to meet you all girls, has anyone found ttc stressful or emotionally exhausted ive been trying for 7 months and i feel drained :(

Hi girls,

nice to read your stories... I'm Jaynie, my partner is Adam. We have been together for 5 years with a travel break in between so technically we have been 'back together' for nearly 2 years. When we had our break we had both talked about wanting children so when we got back together we did the ntnp thing, for 9/10 months. Last month I upgraded us to ttc! Our first cycle ttc was not a success so this cycle i'm trying evening primrose oil for my cm and he's on zinc and selenium for his

(sorry I had meant to press 'go advanced' but pressed 'post quick reply')

The vits are for his :spermy::spermy: so that they are cleverer and find my eggies :)

I do find it stressful cause i'm obsessive but the stories on here give me hope that it might take time, that doesn't mean it won't happen!!

Good luck to you lovely ladies and lots and lots of sticky :dust:

I'm Katie (33) and I've been with Mal (29) for just over a year. We live on the North East coast with our 4 dogs. I had been on the pill for almost all my adult life (since I was 18) without a break. We decided to ttc after moving into our new house in September - my best friend had a baby in August and we realised how much we wanted one too!

This is really our 1st month ttc and as yet I'm not aware of any problems we might have - I seem to have really long cycles though. My first cycle off the pill was 37 days, and I'm already on cd38 of this one!

Hi
My name is Laura, i have been married for 4 months and been with my partner for 4 years. I came off the pill in september and thats the last period i had we started trying properly in october. Tested a couple of weeks ago and negative so assumed i hadnt ovulated with not having periods and a negative test. We have been trying every other day since then so i am hoping this is our month, i have been getting sharp pains to my left and right so this could be ovulation. I am going to test again on the 7th and hopefully that will be it!!

Good luck everyone!!

This is a nice thread to read about everyone xx

girls its official were all having a good time trying by the sounds of it! positive thinking and alot of fun is definatley the way to get our way :) babies of 2011!!

Hi

I'm 32, my DH is 34. We've been together 9 years but only married for 6 months. TTC #1 and I'm on cycle 9  Was on the pill from 14/15 until 31.

Thought it would take about 3/4 months and now its really getting to me. Never thought starting a family could be so miserable! :brat:

awww hun its not miserable its because you know you want it, if you didn't want it, it would happen. i think the majority on this forum ttc are in the same boat. i'm only 22 and my partner is 22 and were meant to be at our peak ttc but because we want it nothing 7 months down the line
when we didnt want it in march (on pill) it came :(

dont let it bring you down, think positive and positive will happen need to enjoy rather than plan.

I wouldn't worry about you age, many women don't have troubles until atleast 35 so I think you still got some time:) Do you have periods every month? I know many women who are a little bigger get pregnant easy, but I have a friend was a little bigger and had no periods and no ovulation. I know the doctor put her on some medicine before starting clomid and she said she was dropping pounds I might be totally wrong on this maybe it was the provera (or something like that) it was a med. she was suppose to take before treatment. but her second cycle of clomid she lost about 30 pounds and got pregnant.
