We like the name Bonnie for a girl but have just realised that bonnie from bonnie and clyde was called bonnie parker and OHs surname is parkin..is this too similar? Would you be put off?

That wouldn't put me off but my friends sister was called Bonnie and she got a really hard time for her name the whole way through school, that and I know lots of people who have called their dogs Bonnie, my brothers dog is currently called Bonnie. That said its a very pretty name! Personally I like it!

nope, I think of billy the kid but that's probably because im obsessive with the Lincoln county war

after that I think of the term 'bonnie' used to describe someone as pretty

When I think of Bonnie and Clyde I think of the romance and the "me and you against the world" kind of thing.... as opposed to the murdering and bank robbing bits. I think its a fantastic name.
