wrong gender prediction at scans?

I was just wondering if this happened to anyone or anyone you know? I got early scan. But now I've read up till 20 weeks can have error and even sometimes people get multiple scans and it is wrong till birth!

I got told boy at 16 weeks and had a scan at 18 and 20 and it is definitely a girl

One of my friends was told girl with her 2nd all the way up until around 4 weeks before baby was due and she is a he. She had done up the whole nursery in pink ( even the cot was painted pink ) she had to sell everything. She fell pregnant like 2 mths PP and had a girl that time though
