Mine have been swelling too but not super bad yet. How was your day? Was it hot? Did you eat out or have a lot of sodium? Did you drink enough water? Were you on your feet all day? Did you get to put your feet up? Alllllll of those things seem to make me swell up like crazy. Maybe see how they are tomorrow. Try to put your feet up and drink lots of water to see if it helps. I called my doc at 22 weeks and asked about swelling since I have high bp and she said its normal at that stage. Hope that helps :)

i have a sit down job, i prop on a foot stool but its not a big one, i drank 4 bottles of water today

It looks painful, my feet werent that bad at all...they did swell on last tri but not this early

Yesterday i woke up with diaherria, my heart was beating sooo fast and felt crappy, i guess.its normal, i.didnt swell this early with dd.. Guessing i sit too.long at wirk, plus my back hurt so bad today, but i sit all day now that i work

I don't think that is normal at all hun....not trying to freak you out but I think its worth getting checked.

I would ask your doctor about both the swelling and other symptoms you mentioned. It doesn't seem normal to me. My feet swelled during my first pregnancy, but that looks extreme for only 20 weeks, especially if you weren't doing anything that would obviously make them swell.

I would get checked out just in case always best to follow the side of caution. Hope all is ok. Let us know hun xx

I didn't get swelling with my first and none so far this time. I'd say get checked out as that's quite a bit of swelling. They may be able to give you some more advice on it too so worth asking your doctor

I agree! I think u should have this looked at. Better safe than sorry. As swelling is a big factor in pre-eclampsia. Hope all is ok x

I agree that a doctor is the best one to ask. But, I will add that my bestie swelled up just as bad for her entire pregnancy. She had to keep her feet propped as high as she could for as much of the day as possible. She also cut out a ton of sodium and drank A LOT of water.

They look alittle better this morning, im thinking its because.i sit at work all day, my next appt.is at 22 weeks

Have you spoken to your MW or doctor about it? I really think you shouldn't wait. It's probably nothing but swelling is a sign of pre eclampsia. I had swelling in my feet very late on in my first pregnancy but nothing at 20 weeks.
X

I think the fact that you feel generally "crappy" on top of the swelling is a reason to get it checked before your next MW appointment.

I had swelling ankles at week 14, that was so painful and stiff I ended up unable to walk. My female Doc knew it wasn't normal and in hospital they found out I had a condition totally unrelated to pregnancy. I ended up off work for about a month and wish it had got treated sooner - the male doctors I had seen twice before getting the hospital referral had just said "well, you're pregnant!" and shrugged:dohh:

That's really a lot of swelling. I don't think that's normal for 20 weeks... I would get it checked out as well. I'm 18 weeks and sit at my desk all day and my feet aren't swollen yet. I think in my 1st it happened more in the late 2nd tri/3rd tri.

After seeing your last picture I have to say I'd go into the ER, like immediately. Swelling to that extent at any stage in pregnancy isn't normal and it means something is very wrong.

Please, please go in asap. Don't wait another day.

I cant go now im at work, and just started this njob, ughh what do i do
