wtf

You just tell them you have to leave now, love. They can't not let you go and they can't fire you for having a medical emergency.

I understand you don't want to rock the boat, but this *could* be a life threatening situation to both you and your baby. If something truly is wrong I fear you'll regret it if you don't get yourself in asap :(

Everything i read says its normal to swell

Swelling is one thing, but that looks like full on severe edema.

Sitting actually puts you at an advantage, knowing that it would be worse if you were on your feet is pretty scary. Not to mention that typical pregnancy swelling is best off in the morning and gets worse throughout the day....that it's that bad at the start of your day......I don't even know you and I'm scared for you :(

You live in Florida too, so Id take that into consideration. Swelling in the feet like that is pretty normal, especially if its hot. My feet were WORSE than that in the summer of my first pregnancy, I wasn't working, drinking water like a horse, and walking every day. I would bring it up to your OB, maybe wear compression socks during the work hours and continue to prop them up.

Glad all was well, it's definitely worth getting any worries checked out! :)

Just keep a close eye on it. Swelling started in my last pregnancy around 23 weeks but it got worse & worse & by 32 weeks my legs and knees were swollen. It was put down to just pregnancy related but then at 34 weeks I developed high bp so they suspected pre eclampsia. Turned out not to be that either so it was simply seen as oedema caused by pregnancy induced hypertension.

That was until I was rushed to hospital with a pulmonary embolism 2 weeks after giving birth (blood clot in my lung)

Turns out I had a blood clot which they think was probably in my pelvis which is why both my legs swelled.

Now my scenario is quite unusual but other than the swelling I had no other blood clot symptoms. The fact that the swelling continued I get worse & worse should have been investigated better and sooner. So if yours doesn't get better, or gets worse & spreads do see a Dr.
