It's definitely doable. I only started pumping to be able to get away for a bit without having to worry about coming back to lo if she suddenly became hungry. Last Friday my bf and I left her with my parents for the evening while we had a much needed dinner and a movie date. The day after that I pumped and left her with my bf while I went shopping with my sister. Basically, I just pump for the weekends so I can have some me time. But the downside to it is now my supply has increased and I now have an over supply, so sometimes I pump to relieve engorgement.

I don't pump. Your breasts adjust to how much baby needs. Some days more some days less. I had oversupply last time and it was a hassle till it settled down. This time it's much better. Good luck!

It is absolutely doable, I've been EBF my DD for nearly 8 months and have only expressed a handful of times so my OH could feed her. I don't have a stash of breast milk in the freezer.
