YAAAAY Back from midwife and VERY happy!

2/5 engaged....which according to her means latent labour!!! guess all the pressure I've been feeling is what I've been waiting for! Been clearing out for a few days and temp is very slightly raised which is all good I'm so excited! I can't believe this is what it is!!!!! all the pains in the middle of the night, she said when I get those I just get up and walk instead of doing what I can to just fall back asleep, she said that could actually slow things down My midwife is so great....told me exactly what I was hoping for lol

bad news is if I go before 37 weeks no water birth, this could last that long, but was told to prepare myself that it won't Could have a baby within 2 weeks EEEK!

your midwife sounds really good!!! all mne told e wasthbaby was deeply engaged!! whn i askedhow engaged she looked at me sorftand said ''DEEPLY'' and i migh go any time but can still go over hummmm thats very helpfull!!!!

she is wonderful been seeing the same one for a while now and it's nice to get to know the person caring for you a bit, helps a ton!

I was 2/5ths engaged at last MW appointment, i still dont understand this engaging business cos i thought it meant hardly engaged at all and did wonder why my MW was saying 'dont worry about it, it doesnt necessarily mean baby will come early'!
I wake up with quite strong BH's and period like pains at night, dunno if thats anything like how you would describe the pain you get but tonight im gonna get up and wander round the house instead of rolling around and moaning to DP. Heheeee. Ill probably still be here in over a month waiting for bubs to come out though!

2/5 is a teeny bit of head out.... and period pains and pressure down low is a very good sign!! and loose bowels is a good sign too It's worth walking around a bit I also lost my plug though and have been spotting a bit!

labour dust to us all I hope nobody goes over!! does not sound like fun at all!!

I KNOW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH could be tonight could be a week!! and how do you of all people not know latent labour?????? Lovely news hun - I am a bit confused by all this engagement business - I was 2/5ths last week and am having cramping/back ache and lots of pressure and looser stools. Think i lost a bit of plug but no blood in it....
I didnt ralise 2/5ths was more engaged than 3/5th - i thought it was the other way round as in 5/5ths is fully engaged.....oooh!!
