I'm not quite sure how to get through a second reflux baby. Often I'm so angry we're going through this hell again after the trauma of doing it once already. Yesterday was one of my daughters worst days ever. 15 hours straight with barely any sleep (and this is her medicated...). But I digress. I want to try and focus on some positives or humorous monents, if at all possible, to see if that helps me get through the hard days. I actually have the head space to think about it since Today we were somehow given a break and had a baby who napped and didn't scream.

If you have "positives" from having a reflux/colic baby, please join in.

...when you've dropped all the weight (42 pounds) gained in pregnancy...in 2 months! since you have to be in constant motion with baby to keep her from inconsolable crying.

...when you have to take ibuprofen since your back, knees, arms are so sore from the constant motion mentioned above. who knew that the baby would not only help me drop weight but also start toning all the muscles

When sick on your clothes is the new fashion statement because you can't go outside naked:haha:
My washing machine can't keep up!

When your not only taking out a change of clothes for baby but also for you.

When a muslin cloth becomes the must have fashion accessory!

And when you leave getting dressed to go out until the last possible minute coz you know you will be soon covered in vomit

(Also on 2nd reflux baby, first was silent reflux which was horrendous, this baby vomits.....a lot but is not bothered by it fortunately) xx

You get OH to do all the shopping because you cant physically leave the house with the super soaker baby
Oh hayz_baby you are so spot on. My babies are grown up but i feel for every single one of you. :hugs:

So true- all of them! My second baby isn't so much a spitter but with my first I'd go through 3-4 shirts a day til I just gave up changing.

Kerp em coming ladies! I can use some positives today...day is still early but she won't sleep, which bodes poorly for what comes next...

Guess it was easier to find humor yesterday on a good day....today I just want to lay down and cry. But then she'll just cry even more. In the past 12 hours, she's only slept for 90 minutes (and that was broken up across three naps...in the car twice and stroller once). Don't understand how we could have 2 perfect days in a row (I thought meds were finally working)...and then this again.

Vibrations worked with ds1, our bouncy chair you could take the thing out that makes it vibrate and we put this in the cot with him that helped.
