Wow girls, you all look amazing!

Kelx44, you are small but as long as your midwife/doctor says baby is a good size, don't worry. I was quite small until a few weeks ago and worried too but they said the baby and uterus measurements were fine. And then the bump really POPPED so now I feel massive lol! Can't win ;)

^Lol ya measurements have been perfect! Just seems small. Its seems weird how mine are perfect and someone with a huge belly has perfect right on time measurements as well...lol...i never understood that....might as well enjoy it while i can lol

My OB says it depends on your body pre pregnancy and how you're carrying. I'm not that big, smaller than a girl at work who's 3 weeks behind me, only gained 12 lbs at 30 weeks but baby measures big. Lol. Crazy.

Yeah, just depends on your body I guess! I put on a lot of weight between about 32-34 weeks and 37-38... I hadn't gained anything by about 20-22 weeks, then I gained a bit gradually through 32 weeks, but most people couldn't really tell. Then I put on like 8-10 kilos (~20 lbs) in only about 6 weeks!!! You can really see the difference, I think, on my bump pics I put on here from 34 weeks -> 38 weeks. In total I've put on about 15 kilos, but I was the same at my 39 week appt as at the one I had around 37-38 weeks, and since I'm almost done I don't think I'll put on anymore than that.

All mine are like this. I am measuring 30w at 36w, but baby was measuring almost 40w at my scan yesterday and almost 8lbs. My previous babies have come 4-5 weeks early and been large so this one is no different. But until this baby my FH never even got past 29w!

My bump was measuring 36 at 38 weeks. It was a tiny bump and my baby was 7lb3 3/4 and 21.5" long born a week early! Bump size means nothing

I'm so glad to see other ladies with belly's measuring small giving birth to completely normal sized babies! I am not worried at all, but my OB's keep acting like it's a huge deal at the last couple scan's saying my belly is measuring too small, even though at my scan at 29w she was measuring in the 57th percentile. I have a scan scheduled for tomorrow (they've been monitoring my SCH) and so the OB's are insisting on a growth scan while I'm there to be sure baby is 'ok'. It really surprises me that they are being so worrisome over something that seems to be as inaccurate as a belly measurement. lol

I sometimes wonder if the obsession with weight gain during pregnancy is cultural? I'm living in Germany right now and I've had two doctors and a midwife (well, two if you count the childbirth class one as well) here not even bother talking about weight until I specifically asked questions about it, if I was doing OK and what not. In all cases they acted surprised that I even asked and basically told me that if I was eating healthy, getting all my vitamins and minerals, and doing exercise like walking, yoga, swimming - then there's nothing to worry about, I'm fine.

I think in the US since they weigh you at every appt you can't help but obsess over the fact of either weight gain or weight loss..
My midwives don't tell me if my bump is measuring on time or not.

My OB only told me about my measurement when I asked regarding gestational diabetes and large babies. Has not once comment on my weight. My DH says not to worry unless the OB brings it up :)

Yeah, they weigh me every time here, too, and I've had like 15 appointments, so quite a lot! I'm usually the one with concerns, lol! They have never brought it up... even when, for example, I put on a bunch of weight in a short period of time... like 2.5 kgs/5 pounds in only 2-3 weeks (granted it was third tri and I didn't put on much before, sooo). But nope, no one even commented on it aside from me.

31 weeks (actually 30+6 in both) with baby #1 on left, baby #2 on right. A whole lot more me this time!
