So sorry to jump in and write this on here but struggling to find answers I'll be 40 weeks Wednesday

Hi my daughter has chicken pox, we found out on Friday by the time I eventually got through to the midwives it was too late to do the blood test ( I've never had chicken pox) so she told me to come in this morning to have the test done. So after all weekend I went n had them done to then be told I'll find out Wednesday my due date!!!!, if I'm immune I have read that if I'm not I need to have the immunisation which is meant to be done at the most four days after contact!!!, I'll be well and truly passed this I'm panicking. Has anyone or do u know anyone that this has happened to and can I ask to be induced.

TIA xxxx

I'm so sorry for the stress hun! In 1st tri one of my co-workers had german measles and we weren't aware of it until she was diagnosed. She was at the office for a few days sick before she went to the dr. I haven't had that either but both baby and I are fine. There is hope that you will both be fine :hugs:

Sorry I could not be of more help, but I didn't want to just read and not say anything. Have you asked your Dr about the induction? If they don't seem that concerned about you and baby maybe there is not that much cause for worry for you?

I'm sure that you and baby will be fine though!

28 weeks!

Really amazed with your bump JumpingIn... It's so neat and pointy...

Thank you, loving yours too! Measuring 33 weeks right now so he must have had a spurt just lately. So wiggly too!

Thanks, i was measuring 31w2d when i went in for my appointment at 29w2d also 2 weeks ahead. Can't wait what he measures when i go to our new hospital on Saturday. If he's still measuring ahead i'll be so worried thinking he's going to be a big baby... Baby's movement so so different now. Me and DH feels the bulging movements on my belly which DH really likes...

I've suspected we're both going to have big boys since we joined 3rd tri...let's just keep hoping for the best! I'm 5 feet tall, not sure I could squeeze out a 9lber!

Trying not to worry but i just can't  I'm 5'6" and I was a 9lber when i was born. So that really makes me think I'm going to have the same.. My mum went over her due date and not really had a contraction. So i was delivered via C-section (4th and last child all were normal delivery) glad they did because they said i already pooped inside.

:hugs: My partner was over 9lbs and my mother had seriously big babies (one 11lb2oz!) so I've got the same worry...I think anything could happen though, they might just slow their growth a lot towards the end, or they might come that little bit early! Let's make sure we make a "get this baby out of me" thread at around 38 weeks and we can share things we're trying! Can't wait to see your little guy!

11lb2oz???!!!! Wow!!!! You have a super mom.... :D

Hoping you are right and that we only get what our bodies can handle. How's Zach's position? Mine is on the right position and hoping he won't try to change it. I really wanted to have a normal delivery but if that's not possible (knock on wood) then anything that is best for his arrival is so much welcome.

When you lay down does he stay that high and pointy, or does he spread out a bit? I'm amazed with how high you're carrying too! Can you feel his whereabouts and positioning - as in where each part of him is?

Welcome Bubbles :hi:

I feel like an idiot because I cannot tell how Matthew is lying... I have no idea. Some parts of my bump will feel harder than other parts so I assume that he is on my left when the left side of my belly is harder etc. But that is about it. I cannot tell head down or up, kicks from punches etc.... :dohh:

I'm about 5 ft short :haha: and dh is about 5'7". His dad was about 6'2"
The men in their family are really tall and baby had long legs in our u/s as well so I'm already scared of Matthew's size. Fundal height at 28 weeks was 33cm so I'm not sure if that is a good indication of big baby or not

Hello third trimester! Here is my 'little man' bump at 27 weeks. I think he's going to be huge. Two of my boys were 9lb 7oz, 20in! I'm huge at this point anyway :haha:

I love seeing the all different shape & sized bumps in the third trimester!

This will likely be my last bump pic, EVER. Going in for my cs in just a few hours. Excited and so incredibly nervous at the same time. 36+2
