I have been thinking whilst lying awake most of the night, what to do for the night feed and warming it up or even keeping it warm. What do you do? I dont really want to come downstairs to warm a bottle up in the middle of the night - one reason being, i want minimal disturbance and two, i dont really want to have a crying baby for too long in the middle of the night.

Is there something so simple that i just cant think about doing? What do you ladies do for the night feed?

I've got no practical tips Hon :nope: Could you try giving him his bottle cold though? Tattie did that one night early on when Kaylum was frantic and he instantly decided that he prefers his milk cold :dohh:

Now he won't drink warm bottles (mind you he's not keen on warm food either LOL) .... I think it's us who decides that a warm bottle is somehow better or more comforting, babies don't really care as long as they are getting food ;)

i bought the avent digital bottle warmer its brill, warms it to the correct temperature you just type in whether its come out of the fridge, freezer or its at room temp how many oz's is in the bottle and it heats it up in rapid time i just take it up to bed with me at night time it takes 2 mins and by the time ive finished changing alfie its done,

<3

i have a bottle warmer, the tommy tippee one but was just a bit concerned of how long it will take to warm up with a baby screaming wanting his bottle, but i never thought that i could be changing his nappy whilst it is warming up, so thankyou!

Yeah, i am going try room temp bottles but not sure at the moment if he will be ok with that because some babies point blank wont take it unless warm will they xx

if you give him them room temp bottles from birth i dont think he will know any different hun so he should be fine with them. (i think) alfies always had room temp bottles from birth and to be honest ive given him warm bottles aswell but he just doesnt care what the temp is aslong as its milk lol!!

good luck with everything

most babys arnt bothered about the temp of milk, as long as it isnt fridge cold x

my baby wont drink the last bit because its got to cold :0 so jealous of you guys!

When we finish a night feed I bring the next bottle into bed with me so it warms up slightly. Ah the romance

Someone on here recommended the lindam night and day feeding system to me & its fab!!! Its by my bed & keeps formula cold for 8 hours & has a built in warmer, its great, i dont have to leave my bed, haha!!

I bought a thermos, I let the water cool abit then put it in the thermos, and then if need be cool the bottle down abit more by putting it in a jug of cold water while I change my baby.

We use a thermal warmer and it stays hot for about 10 hours!x

I did have a bottle warmer but never used it much she'd have room temp, only used it if it had been out of the fridge and still had a chill. It didn't take long at all to warm up xx
